Excluding Devices from Scan

Consider a scenario where you may have some unwanted workstations in your environment which you don't want to be a part of a scan. Previously, on large scale scans such as network scans or domain scans these workstations can never be excluded. With the introduction of excluding devices feature, you can exclude these unwanted devices from such scans. You can exclude devices using their hostnames, their IP addresses, or their IP address range. 

Accessing and Using the Feature. 

• Head to Setup >> Probes & Discovery >> Settings. 
• Under Exclude Devices tab, click Exclude Devices. A pop-up opens. 
• You can choose to exclude devices by giving the hostname or the IP address or the IP address range of the device you want to exclude. 
• Click Save.
   

The excluded devices can be viewed under Exclude Devices tab.
