To add a workstation,
Go to Assets. In the left panel, click Assets >> IT >> Workstations.
Click New to open the New Workstation Configuration form.

In the application header bar, click Quick Actions
>> New >> Workstation. This opens the Workstation Configuration page.
In the Computer section, enter the Name, Service Tag, and Manufacturer of the computer.
Select the Model from the list of available workstation and server models. Click
to add a new model to the list.
Choose the VM Type.
In the Operating System section, enter the Name and Service Pack of the operating system.
In the Memory section, specify the RAM and Virtual Memory in MB.
Under Processor section, enter the Processor Info, Manufacturer, Clock Speed and Number of Cores of the processor.
Specify the network adapter details such as IP Address, MAC Address, NIC, Network, DNS Server name and Default Gateway in the given text field.
If you would like to enable DHCP, then select True from the DHCP drop-down and enter the address in DHCP Server field.
Specify the asset info details such as Asset Tag, Serial No, Bar Code, Purchase Cost and Location in the given text fields.
Select the Vendor from the list of available vendors. You can also add a new vendor by clicking
.
Select the Acquisition Date, Expiry Date and Warranty Expiry Date using the calendar icon.
Select the status of the asset from the Asset is Currently combo box. Ex: In Store, In Use and so on.
Select the Site and provide Comments if any.
Enter the input/output devices details of the workstation such as the keyboard, mouse, and so on.
Specify Keyboard Type and its Manufacturer.
Specify the Mouse Type and its Manufacturer.
Enter the Monitor Type, Serial Number, Manufacturer, and the Resolution of the monitor. Click
to add multiple monitors.
Click Save.
