Add Task Dependencies
Task dependencies help define a clear sequence of the tasks to be performed. Task dependencies are important because sometimes the deliverable of one task will form the input details for the following task.
To view, add, or delete task dependencies in Changes,
- Click the Changes tab.
- Click the subject link of the change to open the Change Details page.
- Go to a stage and click Tasks.
- Click Tasks Dependency in the toolbar.
- The Task Dependency map is displayed. You can add or remove dependencies directly from this map.

- The green fill-color indicates the percentage of task completed. You can also view the summary of each task by hovering over it.
- To add a dependency, click and hold a parent task and drag the cursor till the child task. The dependency link will be added.
- To remove a dependency, hover over a dependency link and the close icon will appear. Click the icon to delete the dependency.
You can reload the page, alter the layout to vertical, save the dependency map as a PDF document, and review the recent changes using the options in the upper-right of the page.
