Use custom views to create your own customized page to display the assets based on specific criteria. For example, you can create a custom view to list assets belonging to a particular department/site.
By default, the following custom views are given:

All Assets: List all assets in the system.
Loaned Assets: Lists only the assets that are loaned.
Not in contract: List assets that do not have contracts.
Unassigned Assets: List all assets that are not assigned to anyone.
Assets with Depreciation: Lists assets that have depreciation configured for them.
Assets without Depreciation: Lists assets that do not have depreciation configured for them.
Click the
icon on the custom view menu to pin the favorite custom views as quick links on the toolbar. This will be useful for instant navigation between different custom views. The pinned custom views are indicated by the Favorites icon
. You can expand/contract the pinned view by clicking the favorites icon.

Apart from these default custom views, you can create your own as well:
Click on the Custom View icon at the top.
Specify the Custom View Name. This is a mandatory field.
Specify the filter condition by selecting the column, operator, and value. You can use the arrow beside the column name to select the sub-fields under that particular field.
Click + icon to add more conditions. By default, the AND condition is applied. Click AND to apply OR condition.
For SDAdmins, the custom view will be public by default. They can make the view private by selecting Make this view as a private custom view. Users without administrator privileges can create only private views, hence this option will not be available for them.
Click Apply or Save. If you click Apply, a temporary view of assets with the configured criteria will be displayed.

If you click save, the custom view with the set criteria will be available from the custom view list view from where you can access it later.

1. In the custom view menu, hover over the custom view name.
2. Use the edit icon to edit the custom view.
3. Use the delete icon to delete the custom view permanently.
