Assigning a Technician to a Problem
Each problem is assigned to a technician who is also responsible for closing the problem.
To assign a technician to the problem
- From the Problem List View, enable the checkbox beside the problem and select the technician from the Assign drop-down menu at the top of the page.
- Alternatively, open the problem details page and click Assign. You can also assign the problem from the right-hand panel.

- In the Assign Technician pop-up box, select the technician from the dropdown, and click Save.

- Alternatively, you can also assign the problem to technicians using inline edit.
To bulk assign problems to technicians
- In the Problems List View page, select the problems to be assigned to a technician by enabling checkboxes beside the problem subject titles.
- Select the technician from the Assign drop-down at the top of the page.
- The technician gets assigned to selected problems.
