Associate Change to Projects

You can associate a project with multiple changes and track them. These are usually changes that initiated the project or may impact it. You can do this association on the project details page.

Role Required: Change/Project Roles with specific permissions as follows:

Modules		Permissions
Projects		Edit
Changes	To associate changes caused by project	Edit (Submission)
	To associate changes that initiate the project.	Edit (Implementation)

Associate Changes with Projects

On the project details page, go to Associations.

Click Attach next to Change that initiated the Project.

Select the change from the displayed window and click Associate.

To attach multiple changes caused by the project, click Attach next to Changes caused by Project.

To create and associate a new change, click New Change. Fill out the New Change form and associate the change. The newly created change will be listed in the Changes module.

A change that initiated the project can be re-associated with other projects.

Changes that are initiated by the project cannot be re-associated with other projects.

Dissociate Changes from Projects

Click Detach against Change that Initiated the Project and confirm your action.

To dissociate Changes caused by project, select the changes and click Detach.
