Microsoft Azure User Provisioning Extension

Microsoft Azure Active Directory is a cloud-based identity and access management service. It manages identities for organizations and offers authentication and authorization services.

Microsoft Azure User Provisioning extension can be used to manage user data in Active Directory via request templates in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.

Set Up the Microsoft Azure User Provisioning Extension 

In ServiceDesk Plus Cloud, go to Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Extensions and install the Microsoft Azure User Provisioning extension. Alternatively, you can also install the extension directly from ManageEngine Marketplace.

Go to Installed Extensions and select the extension.

In the installed extension, edit the Default Password extension variable and configure your Microsoft account password.

 

 

Hover over the extension connection and click Connect.

 

 

In the pop-up window, click Connect.

 

 

Sign in to your Microsoft account to authenticate the extension.

Perform User Operations in Microsoft Azure AD 

The following user operations can be performed from ServiceDesk Plus Cloud:

After the extension is configured and authorized, additional fields relevant to Azure AD user operations will be added to the ServiceDesk Plus Cloud setup. Administrators can use the extension additional fields to create new request templates relevant to the extension.

 

 

When a request is logged with an extension request template, the user operation related to the template will be performed in Azure AD.
