Using this option you can scan a new workstation added to the domain for its hardware and software details. This is very useful when you have to scan a single or a set of newly added workstations. In such a case, you do not have to scan the entire domain for adding the workstations to the network.
To scan a new workstation,
Go to Assets. In the left panel, click Assets >> IT >> Workstations.
Select the Workstations to be scanned by enabling the checkbox.
Click Actions >> Scan Now. This opens the Scan Configuration page.
This will ask you if you want to associate the workstation with a probe. Click OK. The Associate Probe pop-up will be displayed as shown below:
Select the Probe Name and Device Type.
Choose the Credentails and click Save.
