Change Closure Rules

Change closure rules ensure all necessary details, approvals, and tasks are completed before moving a change to the next stage or completing it.

If certain fields are mandated for a stage, they must be filled to complete the stage.
If task completion is mandated for a stage, all tasks within that stage must be completed.

Closure rules are globally configured for all changes.

Role Required: SDAdmin

Set Mandatory Fields

Go to Setup > Automation > Closure Rules > Change Closure Rules.
Enable the check box beside the fields to mandate it.
Click Save.

If a change is moved to the next stage without data in the mandated fields, an error message will be displayed, as shown in the image.
