After a problem is solved, it can be closed by technicians. If there is a need, the closed problem can be reopened anytime.
Go to the problem details page.
Click Close on the menubar. A pop up asks for confirmation to close the problem. Click Yes.
Alternatively, click the Status combo box on the right side panel of the problem details page and select Closed.
If Problem Closure Rules and Problem Closure Code are configured, the technician will be prompted to add the problem closing details.
Select the closure code from the drop-down and enter the closure comment in the respective fields.

Click Save. A stamp appears on the right panel of the details page to indicate the problem is closed.

Go to the problem details page.
From the right panel, click the Status combo box and select Open.
Alternatively, from the problems list view page, click
> Edit.
Change the status to Open and click Save.
When a problem is reopened, the closed date will be removed automatically and you can change the Due by time.
When the problem is finally closed, the completed date is updated and the time taken to close is calculated based on the reopened time.
Go to the problems list view page.
Select Closed Problems from the Filter drop-down menu. This lists all the closed problems.
Select My Closed Problems to view the closed problems which were assigned to you.
