Color-coding is used to highlight requests based on their Status, Priority, or Category. It enables users to identify and track requests visually. Request color-coding is user-specific. Each technician can personalize the colors in their help desk based on their usability.
Role Required: Technicians with View Request permission.
Navigate to request list view or template view and click the Row Color Settings icon
beside the Table Settings icon.

The Row Color pop-up window displays the following information:
Click Edit row color settings to reconfigure the applied settings. The Color Settings window pops-up.
You can configure the settings on the left pane and preview the color-coded requests instantly on the right side of the configuration space.
Fill out the displayed fields using the table below as a reference:

Choose the field based on which you want to color-code requests. The options available are Status, Priority, and Category. Select value/s for the field by clicking Add New and associate a color by clicking the color checkbox. |

Select the default color to be applied as a background color for all requests. |

Select the request columns that must be colored from the combo box (Fig. 1). If no column is chosen, the color-coding will be applied for all columns (Fig. 2). This setting is applicable only to List View. Learn more.

Select the opacity level of the colors using the slider as required. |
After configuring Color Settings, click Save.


Once Color Settings is configured, the color-coding will be immediately effected and the Row Color Settings icon
will be displayed for the list view/template view pages. You can view the color interpretations by clicking it.

When colors are applied for all columns, the request list view will look as follows:

When colors are applied only for selected columns, the request list view will look as follows:

In the request template view, the colors are applied only to the checkbox column, despite the columns selected in Applies to configuration.
