Unavailability types refer to different reasons why a technician is unavailable, such as sick leave, on-duty, and so on. You will need to choose an unavailability type while marking unavailability for technicians in Scheduler.
In ServiceDesk Plus Cloud, the unavailability types are broadly classified into two categories:
You can include the unavailability types as per your organization's policy as categories and assign unique color codes for each of them in the Setup.

Unavailability types are displayed in Scheduler and Technician Availability Chart according to their color codes in Setup, as shown:

On the Scheduler, Leave and Non-leave categories are marked in pink and yellow, respectively, while subcategories are highlighted with a colored line per the color codes.
