You can now configure a template for frequently created contracts and save time & effort of your technicians by helping them avoid redundant field entries. Using the template, technicians can also easily add a new contract with pre-populated fields.
To add a new contract template,

Fill out the displayed form using the pointers mentioned below:
Enter a Template Name and add Comments about the template if any.
The template is divided into sections. You can enter a section name by clicking on the Untitled text.
Click on the Settings icon against each section to choose column layout, label orientation, and collapse pattern for the fields.
Click on the Settings icon against each field to choose if you want to mark that field mandatory for users or show/hide it for vendors. For non-default fields, you can use the delete icon next to them to delete them.
The first section cannot be deleted since it contains default fields. The default fields such as Contract Name, Contract Type, Contract Cost, & etc., also cannot be deleted.
To add new fields to a section, drag and drop the available/new fields from the right pane. CIs Involved, People, and Services fields are predefined and available by default. Similarly, to add a new section to the template, drag and drop a new section from the right pane.
You can also reorder the sections using the reorder icon beside each section header.
Once you have made all the changes, click Save.
On this page, you can add, edit, copy, disable/enable, or delete contract templates.
From the contract templates list view, you can edit, disable, delete or copy an existing template. Use the Settings icon and select the respective action.
You can also make a template as the default one by clicking the star icon beside the template.
