You can automate notifications to alert organization users or others on contract expiry. You can also manually write to the contract vendor and the contract owner at anytime during the contract's active period.
You can configure notification settings while creating a contract or by using global edit.
In the Contract form, enable Notification Rules displayed at the end of the form. Select the technicians to be alerted on contract expiry.
You can manually add any app user or non-user email addresses as well.
Enter how many days before the contract expiry must the notification be sent.
You can configure up to 10 notifications to be sent on 10 different days before the contract expires. Use the Plus icon to add more notifications.

The notification settings will be displayed in the contract details page under Details > Notifications.

Once a configured notification is sent, the same will be available as a link under Details > Notifications.
To send notifications to the contract owner or the vendor, go to the contract details page and use the corresponding options displayed under Actions.

You can overwrite the displayed notification content (template configured under Setup >> Automation >> Notification Rules >> Contract).
