Create and Manage Maintenance

Schedule and manage recurring maintenance activities such as software patch update, server memory upgrade, printer cartridge replacement, WiFi maintenance, and more. This ensures that maintenance activities are planned in advance and performed on a regular basis.

Maintenance can be scheduled for Requests and Changes
Currently, change maintenance is available only in the Enterprise edition and as a change add-on for other editions.  

Role Required

Technicians should have one of the following roles to schedule maintenance activities:

Once

To schedule maintenance once.

Daily

To schedule maintenance every day.

Specify whether the maintenance should run only on weekdays.

Weekly

To schedule maintenance every week.

Specify the days of a week on which maintenance must occur.

Monthly

To schedule maintenance every month.

Specify the months, dates, and time when maintenance must occur.

Yearly

To schedule maintenance every year.

Specify the months and days when maintenance must occur.

 

Requests/Changes will be created automatically under the respective modules at the scheduled time.

List View Operations 

Generate Requests Instantly - Click beside a maintenance to create a request/change instantly.

Edit/Delete/Suspend/Resume - Click beside a maintenance to edit, delete, or suspend it. For a suspended maintenance, the Resume option will be available. Suspended maintenance is sealed SUSPENDED in their details page.

Bulk Delete - To delete maintenances in bulk, select them and click Delete on the toolbar.

Column Chooser -  Click Column Chooser  to select the fields that you need on display.

Search - Use to search through maintenances based on criteria.

Filter - Use States and Sites filter to display data based on specific states and sites. You can filter request maintenances based on the request type: incident, service, or both.

Row Color Settings - Click the Row Color Settings icon to color code the request/change maintenance. Know more.

Table Settings - Click the Table Settings  icon to customize the list view by configuring Records Per Page, Sort By Column, and Refresh Frequency.
