Currency 

Currency allows you to add different currencies along with their current exchange rate, in addition to the base currency, to procure assets and services from different vendors. ServiceDesk Plus Cloud supports all currencies.

The base currency will be marked with a star icon .

Delete Currency 

 You cannot delete the base currency.

To delete a currency,

Deleting a currency in use will only deactivate it. It will not be removed from the instance. These currencies cannot be used in the application and will be marked as Currently not for future use, as shown: 

To delete permanently, you need to remove the currency from entities currently using it and then proceed to delete.

Configure Exchange Rate

You can configure the exchange rate of a currency in the add or edit form.

You can also configure the exchange rate for multiple currencies at a time. To do that,

View Exchange Rate History  

To view the exchange rate history of a currency,

Use the calendar drop-down in the pop-up to view exchange rates in a specific period.

Click the Table Settings  icon on the pop-up to set the number of records to be displayed per page and sort the records by exchange rate or modified date.

Search Currency 

Click the search icon  on the top-right and use keywords in the required column to search for a specific currency.

Manage List View 

Click the Table Settings icon  on the top-right to set the number of records to be displayed per page and sort the records based on currency name, currency code, and exchange rate.
