You can use custom views to create your own customized page to display the requests based on specific criteria. This helps you to sort and view change requests of your priority and requirement.
Custom Views tabulate Open Requests, by default. You can click the Custom View name to filter the requests based on:
Favorites: The Custom Views which have been marked as favorites by clicking
icon beside their name are listed here. You can reorder your favorite custom views using the
icon. You can also pin your favorite custom views as quick links. To learn more, click here.
My Groups: The groups you are associated with are listed here. You can filter the requests assigned to a particular group by clicking the group name. Only the pending requests assigned to the group will be displayed.
Public Views: Public Views lists various types of filters based on request status, created time, due date, and individual/collaborative actions.
Tags: Request tags accessible to you are listed here. You can select a tag to view similar requests.
Request Type: You can choose to filter the requests displayed via custom views as incident, service or both.
Archived Requests: This filter lists the archived requests in a pop-up window. You can view the archived requests, apply filters, configure data archive, delete and export archived requests as HTML, PDF, XLS, or CSV files. To learn how to configure a scheduled data archiving, click here.
Trashed Requests: This filter lists the deleted requests in a pop-up window. You can view the deleted requests, apply filters, restore or delete the requests permanently from the application.

Click the
icon on the Custom View menu to pin the favorite custom views as quick links on the toolbar. This will be useful for instant navigation between different custom views. The pinned custom views are indicated by the favorites icon
. You can expand/contract the pinned view by clicking the favorites icon.

To create your own custom view:
icon. This opens the Add Custom View page.
Click
to add more conditions.
By default, the AND condition is applied. Click AND to apply OR condition.
For SDAdmins, the view will be public by default. They can make the view private by selecting Make this view as a private custom view. Users without administrator privileges can create only private views. Hence the Make this view as a private custom view option will not be available for technician or requester login.
Click Save.

You can temporarily filter the requests without saving the criteria by clicking Apply. Unless saved, temporary filters will be dismissed if the page is refreshed.

2. Edit the details and save the changes.
