Endpoint Central is ManageEngine's endpoint management solution that enables administrators to secure and streamline IT infrastructure. It provides automated patching, asset intelligence, remote troubleshooting, data security, attack surface management, ransomware protection, and more, all from a single console.
The Endpoint Central extension for ServiceDesk Plus Cloud allows IT administrators manage endpoints, streamline operations, and resolve issues directly from the ServiceDesk Plus console.
Remote Control: Provides instant access to remote devices for quick troubleshooting and issue resolution.
System Manager: Manages endpoint system settings, configurations, and hardware details to ensure optimal performance across IT infrastructure.
Power Management: Gains full remote control over endpoint power states, such as Lock, Hibernate, Shutdown, and Restart.
Wake On LAN (WOL): Turns on remote devices when needed.
Software Deployment: Installs/uninstalls software across the endpoint network. Ensures security by keeping software up-to-date and adhering to compliance standards.
Seamless Integration with Endpoint Central: Manages endpoint and service desk operations by accessing the Endpoint Central console from the ServiceDesk Plus interface.
Role Required: SDOrgAdmin
Technicians must be present in both ServiceDesk Plus Cloud and Endpoint Central.
SDAdministrator and Technicians with view permission (for Requests and Assets modules) are required in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud to view requests raised from Endpoint Central.
In ServiceDesk Plus Cloud, go to Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Extensions and install the Endpoint Central extension. Alternatively, you can install the extension from ManageEngine Marketplace.
Go to Installed Extensions, hover over the Endpoint Central Cloud connection, and click Connect.

Click Connect to navigate to the services login page.

Click Accept to authorize the connection.

The Endpoint Central extension is set up successfully.

After setting up the connection, you can access the Endpoint Central widget from the request details page and asset details page in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.

To access the Endpoint Central console, enable third-party cookies in your browser.
Go to ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.
Click More > Endpoint Central.

Endpoint Central console is loaded.
