Overview

Extensions are ready-to-use plugins and configurations that can be developed and installed in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud for different business needs. ServiceDesk Plus Cloud provides Extension Builder, an exclusive low-code platform to build, test, and publish extensions with minimal effort. Using extensions, you can enhance the capabilities of ServiceDesk Plus Cloud to automate business workflows, connect with third-party applications, and solve many other business use-cases specific to your organization.

The Extension Builder mimics ServiceDesk Plus Cloud features, which can be configured and packaged into extensions. You can restrict builder access to specific users, who can collaborate on the extension development.

To enhance the availability of extensions, ServiceDesk Plus Cloud integrates with Sigma, an extension development platform from Zoho. Besides using extensions privately within your company, Sigma integration facilitates publishing extensions in the ManageEngine Marketplace for external organizations to use in their ServiceDesk Plus Cloud environments without much customization.

Users can install published extensions in their ServiceDesk Plus Cloud instances. The extensions can be continuously upgraded and released in subsequent versions. Currently, you can build extensions specific to request, change, and release management.
