Gantt Chart is a bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. This chart also illustrates project elements - along with their schedule against the project calendar - and summarizes the entire project using the chart. It presents a clear picture of the different phases of the project and also of the various activities that occur in the project's work breakdown structure (WBS).
Advantages:
Provides bird's eye view of a project and also serves as a one-stop solution for accessing the entire project module with all its projects (provided, the technician is assigned with Project Admin role).
Effective resource management as project constraints like time, workforce, and amount of work remaining can be viewed and regulated as per situation demands.
Rescheduling of Milestones/Tasks and project member role change, if such a need arises, can also be done via Gantt Chart.
You can view Gantt chart of all projects by clicking Gantt View icon
on the top right corner of the projects list view page.
Sample Global Gantt view:

Alternatively, you can click the Gantt View icon
on the project details page to view the Gantt chart of the specific project.
Sample project-specific Gantt view:

The default view of Gantt Chart can be customized using Filters or Time Settings.
Filters are used to customize Gantt Chart based on specific activities:
Specific projects (applicable only for Global Gantt Chart View)
Specific milestones within a project
Task status
Time Settings are used to customize Gantt chart based on time-based values
Scheduled time, actual time, or both.
Specific date range.
Zoom chart based on years, months, weeks, days, or hours. The maximum duration allowed for every zoom is as follows:
If no time-based values are selected, the Gantt chart zoom will be auto-adjusted based on the Gantt timeline.
Using the Gantt view, you will have quick access to various projects and the project's milestones and tasks. You can perform the following actions from the Gantt view.
The gear-icon on the left-pane against each row, allows you to edit or delete the item or add a new task or a new milestone, as applicable.

You can also view or edit details of an item by hovering over the title the left pane or the corresponding horizontal bar and select an appropriate option on the floating panel.

To reschedule the start and end times, simply drag-and-drop the horizontal bar to appropriate time frames.
To increase or decrease the duration, click one end of the bar and drag it to a preferred time.
In the left pane, click a project and expand its milestones as well. Among the horizontally aligned tasks, click the tail node of the first task to be performed and drag the orange-colored arrow up to the source node of the second task. Then, repeat the process as shown:
You can also export the configured Gantt chart by clicking Export as PDF on the top-right corner. This option is available only in the project-specific Gantt view. A combined maximum of 1000 milestones and tasks is supported for PDF generation.
