Domain verification in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud

  1. Login to ServiceDesk Plus Cloud
  2. Go to ESM Directory --> Verified Domains page.
  3. Add your organization domain and verify it. The domain you need to add is your organization's email address domain. For e.g., if your organization uses "...@example.com" in the email address, then you need to add and verify "example.com".

Adding an Application in Okta

  1. Go to Admin --> Applications  --> Add Application.
  2. Click Create New App.
  3. Select SAML 2.0 and click Create.
  4. Give the App Name and click Next.
  5. Give the following details :

The Organization ID (ORG ID) is listed under ESM Directory >> Organization Details.

Configuring Okta as SAML Identity Provider in SDP Cloud

  1. Login to ServiceDesk Plus Cloud using your Organization Admin credentials.
  2. Go to ESM Directory ---> SAML Authentication page.
  3. Give the Login URL, Logout URL & Certificate.

Note: Login/Logout URLs will be available in okta when you configure an application and they will point to okta.com. The certificate needs to be downloaded from Okta when configuring the application and needs to be in Base 64 encoded X509 format with ".cer" extension.
