Click the profile icon to slide open the Personalization Settings menu. The personalizations will be applied locally to the instance you are currently present in. You can change the display language, time zones, layout, and theme color to personalize your help desk.
Customize your display language, time and date formats, and email signature by clicking Personalize. You can mouse over the profile icon to update your picture. The picture can be in .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .bmp formats. Note that the file size should not exceed 5MB.
Use the pointers below as a reference:
Select Language: Select a default display language for the application from the drop-down. You can also select the locale where the language is commonly used from the country dropdown. For languages like Arabic and Hebrew, the Right to Left UI orientation will be applied. This helps in catering to the language requirements of these languages in the application's UI and Rich Field editors.
Select Time Zone: Select the time zone according to which your organization operates.
Set Date/Time Format: Select the format in which you would prefer to view date and time. This format will be applied wherever date/time is considered in the application.
Email Signature: Enter your own personalized signature that will be sent while replying to mails. You can customize the email signature to contain text formatting, images, tables, hyperlinks, quotes or emoticons by setting the text area to Rich Text Mode. To discard all formatting and images, switch to Plain Text Mode.
Rick text editor style: Set your preferred font and font size as the default selection for all rich-text fields across the application. Users can change the font and font size when editing individual fields.
If you have file protection password enabled under Setup > Users & Permissions > Privacy Settings > File Protection Password, you can set a login-specific password under the Personalize window. This will protect the exported personal data of your user in accordance with privacy regulations.
Alternatively, you can skip this configuration and use the common password supplied by the admin. The password protection applies to the following data exported from the system:
Display mode allows you to choose from Light, Dark, or System. Dark mode is suited for low-light environments, and System switches to Light or Dark mode based on user preference.
Click Profile and select Dark, Light, or System under the Display Mode.
You can customize the application layout, color, font, and font size according to your requirements.
Navigation menu: Customize the layout of the navigation menu. There are three options:
Navigation background: Customize the color of the navigation pane. You can choose between charcoal black or polar white. This option will not be available if you have selected the Dark display mode.
Preferred theme: Select the secondary color which will highlight the application. The customized color will be applied to the selected tab background, primary button background, navigation menu background, and tabs line color. You have four themes to choose from: Blue, Teal, Purple, and Maroon.
Font type: Select the font in which you prefer to view the UI text.

Font size: Choose from the 5 available font sizes to display UI text across the application. This option will not apply to third-party applications and the Print view.

Enable accessibility controls such as Toast Message Duration and Click-to-Drag Mode.
Toast Message Duration: Configure how long the success and failure notifications must be displayed.
Click-to-Drag Mode: Enable this option to move items upon clicking the fields and sections in Template Builder, custom views in Favorites, and Column chooser.
