Print or test barcodes/QR codes without assigning them to an asset. You can test the label properties in print without generating codes for assets.
You can print codes using the manual or sequential method. To print codes, go to Assets > Barcode/QR code > Print Code.
Role Required: SDAdmin or SDAssetManager or Users with Add/Edit Inventory permissions.
Allows you to manually enter the values to be converted as codes.
To print codes manually, fill in the form as directed:
By default, the Generation Method is Manual.
Enter Codes: Enter the values to be converted as codes. You can enter multiple values by separating them with commas.
Type: Select the type of code to print: Barcode or QR code.
Label Property: Select a label property or click the
icon to add a new label property.
Click Continue to Print.
Enter the values for fields included in the label property. If the fields are left unfilled, '-' will be added across those fields in the label.

Click Continue to Print. Preview of the label is displayed.
To continue, click Print or Test Print to print the first row of the barcode/QR code label.

Unclear labels are highlighted in yellow during preview and cannot be scanned properly. You can remove unclear barcodes/QR codes by selecting the Remove barcodes/QR codes which cannot be scanned properly check box.

Generates consecutive barcodes/QR codes by using the values provided in the Starting From field.
To print codes sequentially,
Generation Method: Select Sequential.
Prefix: Enter a value. You can use alphanumeric or special characters.
Starting From: Enter a value with which the barcode/QR code generation must begin.
Count: Specify the number of codes to be generated.
Suffix: Enter a value. You can use alphanumeric or special characters.
Type: Select the type of code to print - Barcode or QR code.
Label Property: Select a label property or click the
icon to add a new label property.
Click Continue to Print.
Fill in the values for label properties.

Click Continue to Print.
You can preview the label in the canvas.
Click Print. You can use Test Print to print the first row of the barcode/QR code label.
