Problem Closure Code

Problem closure code allows users to specify the reason for closing a problem. The SDAdmin can define closure codes specific to problems. By default, Canceled, Failed, Postponed, Success, and Unable to Reproduce are the available closure codes.

 

Add New Closure Code

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Problem Management > Closure Code.

  2. Click New Closure Code.

  3. Provide a unique name and description for the closure code.

  4. Click Save.

 

Edit/Delete Closure Code

To edit/delete a closure code, click beside the closure code and select Edit/Delete.

 

If a closure code associated with a problem is deleted, it will be grayed out and marked as not for further use. To bring it back to usage, toggle the Closure Code not for further use option and click Save.
