Projects Custom View
ServiceDesk Plus Cloud introduces Projects Custom View that allows users to add custom filters. These views can be configured with filter conditions and used in the projects list view. Custom views can be marked as a favorite by clicking on the
icon.
Create Custom Views
- Click Projects.
- Click New Custom View icon

- On the New Custom View form, type the View Name for the filter.
- To mark the filter as private, enable Make this view as a private custom view.
- Select the matching Field and Filter Criteria under Criteria.
For example, if you select the field as Actual Cost, the criteria could be less than or greater than or equal to. If you select the field as Description, the criteria could be is, is not, starts with, ends with, etc. You can enter numbers/words or select values in the following field according to the filter condition you have selected.

- To add new filter conditions, click
icon.
- Click Save.
Edit Custom Views
- Click Projects and select the custom view from the custom view filter.
- Click the Edit icon
beside the Custom View name.
Delete Custom Views
- Click Projects and select the custom view from the custom view filter.
- Click the Delete icon

Filter Permission Based on Roles
Filters will be displayed based on the roles assigned to the users.
A project admin can,
- Add new filters (private/public), edit their own filters and public filters.
- View all the filters in the filter drop-down.
Project members having project view permission can,
- Add new filters and edit their own filters.
- View their own filters and "public" filters in the filter drop-down
