Release management support tracking the interdependence between releases and other modules such as changes and projects. The following document explains how you can link changes and projects with releases, track their relationships, and dissociate when necessary.
Change Association with Release
Project Association with Release
Request Association with Release
If you have initiated a release request to deploy an authorized change record in the application, you can associate the change with the release to track their relationship throughout the change deployment. You can link more than one change with the release and track their association from either the release or the change. You need a pre-configured change to complete this association.
To link a change with a release, go to release details page and click Associations on the left pane.
Click Attach under Associated Changes.

All changes available for the association will be displayed in a table pop-up. You can filter out specific changes or manually search for them. The Table Settings allow you to select the columns to be displayed, specify the number of change records in one page, and sort by a specific column. You can also click the pop-out icon beside a change title to view the complete change information.
Select the required changes from the displayed list and click Associate.
The associated change will be listed. The Table Settings will be provided for on-demand table customizations. You can preview the change by clicking it.

At anytime you want to detach a change, select the change and click Detach.

The built-in module for project management can be used in tandem with the release management to deploy changes in incremental steps. You need a pre-configured project to complete this association.
To link a project with a release, go to release details page and click Associations on the left pane.
Click Attach under Associated Projects.

All projects available for association will be displayed in a table pop-up. You can filter out specific projects or manually search for them. The Table Settings allow you to select the columns to be displayed, specify the number of projects in one page, and sort by a specific column. You can also click the pop-out icon beside a project title to view the complete project information.
Select the required projects from the displayed list and click Associate.
