Filters and Views

Using the filters, you can display specific releases, such as canceled or closed releases, all your releases, open releases, and more. You can locate filters quickly by using Search.

 

 

Besides the default filters, you can add custom filters for release requests. Click New Custom Filter and provide a name to your custom filter.

 

After you choose a filter for the release requests, you can display them in a list view or in a calendar view. Choose the corresponding view from the top right corner of the Release home page.

Deleted releases can be restored from Trash within 30 days from the day of deletion.

 

Release Calendar View 

On the upper half of the page, choose whether you want to display only releases or both release and change requests.

 

 

By default, monthly view is displayed for the filtered release requests. Choose the required month and year from the top left corner of the page.

 

 

In the footer are listed all types of release. Select the release types that must be displayed. 

 

 

For a weekly view, choose Week displayed at the top-right corner of the page.

 

 

To view the details of any scheduled release request click the bar displayed for the release. You can open the release details page by using the View Details.

In both List View and Template View, the color of the release icon denotes the template type

View/Edit/Delete Release

To view the details of a release request, click the release request from the list.

To edit or delete a release request, click the corresponding button under the Settings icon displayed next to the release request.

 

 

 

Workflow Details

To display the workflow associated with a release request, click the workflow icon displayed next to the release request. 

 To view the notes added to a release request, click theicon displayed next to the release request. You can add notes on this dialog box as well.

 

 

The following text box will appear when you click Add Note. Add the message and click Save Note.

 

 

The Grey Note icon  indicates that no notes have been added to the release request.

 

Bulk Actions

You can bulk pick release requests or assign them to other technicians by using the corresponding buttons.

 

 

Search Release Requests

You can search release requests by multiple columns in one go. Click the Search icon displayed at the upper half of the page.

Enter the relevant criteria and click Go.
