Reminders and Notes

Adding Reminders

Technicians can configure reminders for release request-related events. 

To add a reminder for a release request, go to Releases and click the required release request.

Go to Reminders under Activities on the left pane and click New Reminder.

Alternately, you can click Add Reminder under Actions.

 

 

Provide a summary of the reminder. 

Under Date, specify when the reminder must be triggered in the application. 

You can optionally configure an email notification to receive at a given time before the reminder is triggered in the application. Under Email me before, specify how much time before the reminder must you receive an email notification. 

You can use the release ID to view the release request details.

Click Save.

 

 

After the reminder is triggered, it will be crossed out. You can also manually change the reminder status to Completed and back to Open.

 

 

Perform bulk actions such as deletion and status change on reminders from the list view.

 

 

Reminders associated with a release request will be automatically marked as completed when the release is closed/canceled.

Adding Notes

In the release details page, navigate to a stage. Under Notes, click Add Note

 

 

You can alternately click Add Note from the Actions drop-down.

 

 

Enter the message on the displayed text box and click Save.

 

 

In the Notes list view, you can edit and delete any note.
