Report Widgets

You can convert tabular reports that contain charts into widgets that can be added to dashboards. These widgets will show only the charts in the respective reports. To add report widgets to dashboards, you need to enable them from the reports module.

Enabling report widgets

You can enable report widgets directly from the list view or from the details page.



To enable widgets for existing reports, use the Access to Dashboard toggle against your preferred report in the reports list view.

You can also enable report widgets when saving a report by enabling the appropriate option. To do this, open your preferred report, click Save report as from the report details page, and select Enable for the Access to Dashboard option.
 

 

A new copy of the report will be created when using the Save report as option for existing reports.
The access to dashboard option can be enabled for a maximum of 100 reports.
Only tabular reports that contain charts are supported.

 

Adding report widgets to dashboard

Report widgets with the Access to Dashboard option enabled will be available as widgets when customizing dashbaord.

To add report widgets to a dashboard,

  1. Hover over the dashboard name, click Edit  and click Customize.
  2. Go to the Reports section under the Select Widgets section on the customization panel, and choose your preferred report widgets.
  3. Finally, click Update Widgets.


 

Up to 4 report widgets can be added to each dashboard.
