Resource Management

ServiceDesk Plus Cloud's Resource Management allows resource managers to plan, manage, check resource availability, and assign tasks to technicians. It reduces the risk of missing deadlines caused by under-utilizing resources.

Role Required: SDAdmin or SDCo-ordinator

Resource managers monitor the availability, load, utilization of technicians/project members and assign tasks. 

Resource Management is accessible from the Home, Projects, and individual Projects. To access resource management from Home tab:

  1. Go to Home >> Tasks >> Resource Management.

To access resource management from the Projects module:

  1. Go to Projects >> Resource Management.

To access the resource management from individual Projects:

  1. Go to Projects and open a project from the Projects list view.

  2. On the Projects details page, click the Resource Management icon.
