Site24x7 is a cloud-based, all-in-one monitoring tool that helps DevOps and IT teams monitor the uptime and performance of IT infrastructures, such as websites, virtual and on-premises servers, network devices, and applications.
The tool provides AI-powered insights and in-depth performance reports with instant alerting systems to ensure that users are always updated on the performance of their IT resources.
With this extension, you can perform Site24x7 troubleshooting actions, such as executing IT automations and marking the status as maintenance or downtime on requests logged in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud for alerts created in Site24x7.

Technicians must be present in both ServiceDesk Plus Cloud and Site24x7.
For SDAdmins
In ServiceDesk Plus Cloud, go to Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Extensions and install the Site24x7 extension. Alternatively, you can install the extension from ManageEngine Marketplace.
Go to Installed Extensions, hover over the extension, and click Connect.
Under Extension Variables, the Is Extension Enabled field shows the connection status of the Site24x7 extension and ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.
By default, the Site24x7 domain is provided in the Site24x7 URL field. You can modify it, if required.
After setting up the connection, administrators can perform Site24x7 actions from the request details page.

For Technicians
Technicians with request view permission can perform Site24x7 actions from the request details page.
On the request details page, click More Actions > Site24x7 Actions, and select the required action.
You will be prompted to establish connection with Site24x7 while accessing actions for the first time.
Hover over the connection and click Connect.
After connecting the extension, you can perform the required action.

The following actions can be performed from ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.
Execute IT Automation
Mark as Maintenance
Mark as Downtime
On clicking Execute IT Automation, IT automation templates present in Site24x7 are displayed. Select the required template and click Execute.

If two-factor authentication (TFA) is not enabled in Site24x7, actions are executed, and the IT automation initiation and execution statuses are recorded as notes.

If TFA is enabled in Site24x7, a prompt is sent to the Site24x7 mobile application. Based on the technician’s action, IT automation is executed.
To get the push notification again, you can click Resend Push Notification after 15 seconds.

Mark as Maintenance - The status of the monitor is marked as Maintenance, and the action is recorded as a note in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.

Mark as Downtime - The status of the monitor is marked as Downtime, and the action is recorded as a note in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.
