SMS the Technician
ServiceDesk Plus Cloud enables you to notify a technician through SMS. This option is available only to the technician assigned to the request,
- Click the Requests tab in the header pane. This opens the Request List View page.
- Click the subject link of the request. This opens the Request Details page.
- On the request details page, go to Actions >> SMS the Technician. This opens the SMS to technician form

- The To address displayed as <mobile number>@<service provider>.com. You can configure the service provider details in the admin configurations.
- To send the email to more than one person, enter the additional phone numbers in the CC field with a comma as the separator.
- Edit the Subject and Description of the SMS.
- You can switch between Rich Text mode and Plain Text mode by clicking on the dropdown arrow on the top-right of the description box. By default, the Plain text mode is selected.
