Under Room & Space, you can add information on individual rooms and spaces that are present on a floor. These spaces can be any empty piece of free space such as a space to keep the couches and store rooms, etc.
To add new rooms and spaces,
Go to Space > Room & Space.
Click New Room and select the respective Campus, Building, and floor and add fill out the details such as Name, Description, Status, Area, and Supervisors.
Enter the total and occupied capacity. This will help in calculating the available capacity.
Mark if the space you are adding is partitionable and if it is a floating capacity using the respective options. If you select Yes for floating capacity, then the rooms' capacity will not be included in the total capacity of the floor or building.
You can also include amenities and criticality information, such as any chemical waste, explosives,etc, present in the room, as well as attach images. Once added, the amenities and criticality details will be displayed with respective icons on the details page.
Select the layout of the room, such as classroom, theatre, or U-shaped, and enter the capacity. Layout details will help admins choose a particular space over another one for a specific purpose. For example, a room with a theatre layout may be preferred for conducting a seminar.
Click Save.

From the room&space list view, you can add, edit or delete rooms and spaces. View them in Space Tree to get an overview of the associations under them as well as view the campus and structure (buildings/non buildings) in which they are located.
To add a new room/space, click on the New Room and fill out the displayed form.
To edit or delete a room/space, click on the
icon and perform the preferred action.
You can use filters or the search option at the header to find a particular room.
You can switch between table view and classic view by using the respective icons
(List View, Template View) on the top right corner.

Click on a room from the list view to get to the details page of that room. From there, you can view all the details related to the room, associate requests/assets/facility services, add documents, and view history.

To associate a request, click Create Incident/Create Service Request at the header and fill out the displayed form. The created request will get associated to the room&space automatically. You can associate assets and facility services to the room&space from under the Associated Assets and Associated Facility Services sections.
In addition, you can also add documents related to the room&space, such as a fire evacuation plan, blueprint of the room & etc, from under the Documents tab. You can view the record of all events done in the room&space from under the History tab.
