Trash Solutions

ServiceDesk Plus Cloud allows you to delete and restore solutions. Deleted solutions are moved to trash. You can restore solutions from trash within 30 days from the date of deletion. 

Role Required: SDAdmins; Users with Delete Solutions permission.

View Trashed Solutions 

On the solutions list/template view, select Trashed Solutions using the filter drop-down as shown in the screenshot below.

 

 

Delete Topics 

While deleting,

 

 

 

 

Restore Topics 

You can restore inactive topics by hovering over and clicking  > Restore. After restoring the topic, you can restore solutions from the trashed solutions list view.

Restoring a sub-topic will automatically restore the parent topic.

 

 

Restore Solutions 

 

 

While restoring solutions from,

One or more active topics - Solutions will be restored directly.  
One inactive topic - Topic will be enabled and solutions will be restored.
Multiple  inactive topics - Solutions will not be restored.  
Both active and inactive topics - Only solutions in the active topics will be restored.
