Go to Assets. Click Components on the left panel and choose the required component. This opens the components list view page.
Choose the appropriate component from the drop-down box. This opens the components list view page.
Click the component name to view the details. By default, Details tab is displayed.
Resource tab displays the Resource Details such as Resource Name, Tag, Bar Code, Serial No Region, Cost, Acquisition Date, and many other details are displayed.
The Financials tab displays the costs associated with the component.
Click Add Cost to add cost to the component. The Add Cost form pops up.
Select the Cost Factor from the combo box. Eg. Service Cost. This is a mandatory field.
Specify the Cost in the default currency. This is a mandatory field.
Select the Date using the calendar icon. This is a mandatory field.
Specify the Description of the cost. Say if the cost factor is service cost you can specify important information about the service cost.
The Contracts tab lists the contracts attached to the component along with details such as Contract Name, Vendor Name, Active From date, and Active Till date.
The History tab lists all activities performed on the asset.
In the History sub-tab, you can filter the asset history based on specific fields or operations.
The State History tab lists all the state updates of the asset.
To view the list of associated requests, click the request count on the right panel. The list of all associated requests pops up.
Click
beside the request subject to open the request details page.
