Viewing Task Dependency
Task dependencies help in gaining an overall insight into various tasks and their dependent components within a problem at a single glance. In order to view task dependencies within a problem, simply follow the given steps:
- Click the Problems tab.
- Click the subject link of the problem to open the Problem Details page.
- Click Tasks. The list of tasks is displayed.
- Click Tasks Dependency in the toolbar.
- The Task Dependency map is displayed. You can add or remove dependencies directly from this map.
- The green fill-color indicates the percentage of tasks completed. You can also view the summary of each task by hovering over it.
- To add dependency, click and hold a parent task and drag the cursor till the child task. The dependency link will be added. The more the number of tasks, the more the number of dependencies you can configure.

- To remove a dependency, hover over a dependency link and the close icon will appear. Click the icon to delete the dependency.
- You can view the dependency map horizontally or vertically by selecting the view from the Layout dropdown located on the right top of the dependency mapping screen.
