WorkLog Timer

Worklog timer allows you to track the time spent by technicians in resolving a request or in performing an assigned task within a request. It also provides you the technicians count working on a request and whether they have initiated the assigned work.

Setting Worklog Timer

Go to Requests and click a request.

On the request details page, click WorkLog Timer located at the right panel.

Add your work details or other important information in the Comment section and click Start My Timer.

 

 

You can enable/disable the Include non-operational hours option.

You can configure this option under Worklog Settings in the Advanced Portal Settings.

 

The Worklog Settings configuration under Advanced Portal Settings determines whether the Include non-operational hours option is enabled or disabled by default in the Worklog Timer section when starting the timer. To learn more, click here.

 

 

When you have resolved the ticket or completed the assigned task, click Add My Worklog.

 

List View Page Action

Under Table Settings, you can choose the worklog to be displayed in the list view.

Click upon the Timer icon of a request; technicians who are currently working on the request will be displayed along with the worklog details.
