Associate Requests to Assets
You can create incident and service requests for IT Assets, Non-IT Assets, and Asset Components from the Asset details page.
- In the Assets tab, navigate to the Assets or Asset Components section on the left panel.
- Choose the product type of the asset or component from its relevant drop-down.
- Click the asset name to open the asset details page.
- Go to Actions >> Raise Request. Choose to create incident or service request.


- In the new incident or request service form that appears, enter the relevant details. You can refer to the links below for more info.
- Once you have filled the form, click Add Request.
- The new request is logged into the application. You can view it under the Requests tab.
Alternatively, you can also associate assets to requests while creating a new incident or service request.
- In the Requests tab, click New Incident or New Request to create an incident or service request respectively.
- In the new incident or new request form, select the Requester Name.
- The asset/s associated with the requester is automatically listed in the Asset(s) field.
- To add more assets to the request, click
icon.
- In the Select Asset window, filter the assets by type(Access Point, Router, Workstation etc.). Select All Assets to view all the assets available in the application, irrespective of the asset type. You can also filter the assets by sites.

You can add up to 25 assets to a request. Edits made to asset association will be logged in to the request's history.
Asset association will be reset if the requester is changed.
