Maintenance Template View

Template View displays the maintenances as an extensive list. The crucial information such as schedule type, the upcoming schedule date and time, and the status are displayed as fixed columns, while further basic information can be viewed under the subject of the request. You can switch to template view by clicking the icon.

The following list of actions can be performed from the template view:

• Create and manage maintenance

• Apply filters

• Color code maintenances

• Customize the layout

• Choose columns to be displayed

• Search maintenances by columns

• Generate requests/changes instantly

• Edit/Delete/Suspend/Resume maintenances

Create and Manage Maintenance

You can add, edit, suspend, resume, and delete maintenance from the template view. To learn more, click here.

Filters

You can filter the maintenances based on:

• States: Filter maintenances based on specific states (active, suspended, completed) or all states.

• Request Type: Request maintenances can be filtered based on the request type: incident, service, or both.

• Sites: Filter maintenances based on their sites.

Color Code Request/Change Maintenances

Click the Row Color Settings icon on the top right of the toolbar to color code the request/change maintenances. Know more.

Customize Template View Layout

Using the Table Settings  icon on the top right of the toolbar, you can:

• Specify the number of records to be displayed per page.

• Sort maintenances based on column criteria.

• Specify the refresh frequency.

Choose Columns to be Displayed

Column chooser helps you customize the information you want to view on the list view page. You can choose up to 70 columns. Reorder columns using the icon.

Search Maintenances

You can search for maintenances based on the column criteria. Click the icon on the toolbar.

• Select the Criteria from the dropdown.

• Enter the search term.

• Click   to add several criteria or click Search.

You cannot search for maintenances using any of the date fields.

Generate Requests/Changes Instantly   

To generate requests and changes instantly for ongoing maintenance, click the icon beside the maintenance subject in the template view and confirm your action. A request or change will be created under respective modules.

You can view the summary of generated requests under Generated Requests in the request maintenance details page and of changes under Generated Changes in the change maintenance details page.

Edit/Delete/Suspend/Resume Maintenances

Click  beside a maintenance to edit, delete, or suspend it. For suspended maintenance, the Resume option will be available.

Alternatively, you can perform these actions from the maintenance details page. Click the Actions menu and select the required option.

Suspended maintenance is sealed SUSPENDED in their details page.
